On Saturday 27th of June 2009, the European Championships Amateur Shooto will be held in Deventer, Holland. The fighters will decide, for the 9th time, who will be the European Champion Amateur Shooto.
The fighters will have to fight with protection gear as it will be an Amateur Competition. The organisation will supply headgear and shooto gloves. The fighters will have to bring there own groin protection, mouth piece, knee- and shinguards. In the preliminary rounds the fights will be 1 round of 4 minutes and in the finals the fights will be 2 rounds of 3 minutes. The weight classes are as follows: -65kg, -70kg, -76kg, -83kg, -91kg, -100kg en +100kg.
The weigh in will start at 11.00 h and the fights will start at 13.00 h. De competition fee will be € 5,- per person.
