Tutaj opis calego tego show:
Kimo appeared on Thursday's MMAWeekly Radio Show and engaged in a brief trash-talking session with Wes "Cabbage" Correira. Kimo repeated statements that he made in the weeks leading up to UFC 43, again saying that Cabbage is a limited and predictable fighter that he wouldn't have much trouble beating. Kimo said, "Cabbage doesn't have what it takes to stay in the ring with me for very long."
Cabbage got on the phone line and both fighters had the opportunity to talk to each other directly. Kimo said that he's been in the game a lot longer than Cabbage, and he knows how to finish a fight quickly. Cabbage responded by saying that a lot of the old fighters are too old to be fighting, and should retire to make room for some young blood. Kimo's response to that was, "I'm smiling."
Later, Cabbage said that his strategy in a fight with Kimo would be to sprawl and brawl, while Kimo said that he can take anyone down and that includes Cabbage. Kimo may have had the quote of the show when he said, "I'm not old... I'm f---ing ripe!" With Cabbage on the phone line, guest host John Hartnett asked Kimo if it's true that he said Cabbage is a limited and predictable fighter (a statement he made just minutes earlier), and Kimo said, "No comment." Cabbage didn't seem to take kindly to that response and said, "This conference call is over" before hanging up.
Other than the conference call with Cabbage, Kimo talked about his high level of training and the way it makes him feel that he can beat anyone who is put in front of him--- even if that person is Bob Sapp and it's under K-1 rules. Kimo vs. Sapp is the main event of K-1's August 15th pay-per-view event from Las Vegas. Kimo also stated that his next MMA fight will be in November, but it won't be in the UFC or Pride. Instead, Kimo said that he will be fighting Rogerio Nogueira on an MMA show in South Korea, though he didn't elaborate.
