The bill will pass in the next few days, from there we have 90 days. Hence the mid january guess.

The larger problem may be with supply. Many oversea's manufactures have stopped production of such materials. They don't understand US laws and think once it is passed, it will become illegal. Since it was thought the ban would pass months ago, they stopped production. I recently placed an enormously large order for hormones and it has become next to impossible to find various ingredients. They will manufacture stuff for you, but they want it prepaid up front. Few companies have the bankroll to do such a thing.

Once the ban is passed, there are certain compounds that main run out of supply before the end of the grace period due to this lack of material. Remember, it still takes a decent amount of time for a material to come in and get it into a labeled bottle. If companies have not already prepared for such a thing, they may have issues with meeting demand. If the bill passed monday and a company had to order material, wait for it to be sent from china, have it sent to a bottle company, have it sent to them after being bottled, then send to a distributor and then to a consumer, you are talking 12 weeks in some cases. This assumes no issues with bringing the material in.
