Senate bill 2195 passed the Senate on Oct. 6th.
This bill reclassifies these prohormones and prosteroids as anabolic steroids and makes them controlled substances.
The bill is currently being held at the desk in the House and being that the House has previously passed nearly identical legislation, the word is, the House members plan to vote and unanimously pass the bill on Friday.
Once done, the bill will be on the president’s desk within 2 weeks to be signed and the ban would become effective 90 days after.
It looks like prohormones will become a pleasant memory by about mid-January, 2005 (although, they can be pulled from shelves at anytime after the bill is signed).
