"There have been many rumors regarding Professional Wrestler Bill Goldberg. Goldberg took the pro wrestling world by storm in World Championship Wrestling, the former WCW, now owned by the WWE. There have been reports that Goldberg would compete in Pride. Well those rumors could be true. MMAWeekly reader James Burton from Littleton Colorado sent this email to us. “Hey guys, I love MMAWeekly.com. It’s my favorite mma website. Since you guys break so many news stories, I wanted to tell you an experience I just had with Bill Goldberg. Goldberg as you know, was part of the Pride broadcasting team. I ran into him in Atlanta as he was coming back from Japan. I asked him how he liked Japan, and he said he had a lot of fun doing the broadcast, but would be more interested in fighting. I asked him if he was going to fight, and he said yes! I asked him when and he said that Pride was talking to him about fighting early next year. I asked against whom and he told me it would be against a Japanese Professional Wrestler. He said he wanted to work on his ground game and striking then step forward in the ring early next year. Look for Bill Goldberg to FIGHT in Pride next year!"
